toni incalzanti.
resta.*
To face one’s own fears face on is as if to exorcise them. When we make friends with them we fear them no more. This performance is comprised of an ensemble of rituals that the principal player
creates to overcome their fears and mania, be they apparent or real. Black overcoat, dark glasses, an umbrella and a plunging neckline typically personify a character that enters the gothic
scenery furtively, looking around with an air of uncertainty. The darkness fails to reassure her. Here begins the performance Rock rose, which from the title, brings to mind a natural remedy Bach
Flower n° 26 and its respective beneficial therapeutic effects from overcoming panic attacks, extreme frights and nightmares to anxiety and frights. The atmosphere on stage is dark and the tone
onerous. The dancer alternates moments of rigid stillness with repeated compulsive movements that represent the psychophysical malaise to which the human being is exposed and the frailty of their
own existence. These reactions are tentative to a situation where one feels moved, where one loses control of oneself. As in other works, in the gestures run contrary to carry and offer; to
search both in and outside of oneself until one reaches the final exorcism, at which point the principal player lies down and crouches close to the twinkling red night-lights on the ground. The
fears change but fear remains.
